About Us
.
Are you looking for a community of people
who are radically and unashamedly
in love with Jesus?
Well then New Life Open Bible may be for you. We're a group of people who are probably a lot like you, not perfect by any means, but striving to genuinely know the Perfect One - Jesus Christ. We're not trying to be religious; we're trying to be real. We want to be on fire for Jesus in every aspect of our lives. Our sincere desire is to welcome people into a dynamic Christian Community where they can connect - with God and with one another. More than that, we want to provide opportunities to make a difference in our changing world. New Life isn't about a building, a place, or an organization. Our church is about people. Some words that describe the people at New Life are: friendly, warm, open, accessible and loving. If any of this sounds like what you're looking for, stop in. We'd love to meet you!
What to expect:
Here are some frequently asked questions:
Do I need to dress up?
Only if you want to. Most people dress casual at New Life and everyone dresses comfortably, so wear what you like.
What times are services?
Our Sunday morning service beings at 10:00 AM. We have Sunday night service at 6:00 PM, and Wednesday night family night begins at 6:30 PM with adult Bible study, youth group, and children's ministry.
What happens during church service?
Each week is a little different, but some common elements include the following:
-Contemporary worship, with some traditional music mixed in. We are a Charismatic/Pentecostal fellowship that loves to praise Jesus.
-A Message that is practical, relevant, and biblical.
-Altar ministry. Prayer for people's needs is still being answered by a living God.
-You won't be singled out. You can participate or not, it's up to you.
How long does the service last?
The service is usually between 1 1/2 to 2 hours long.
Are children welcome in Church?
Absolutely. We have a wonderful children's pastor and some gifted teachers. We offer an excellent children's church on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights, as well as a staffed nursery for babies and toddlers.
