David Simmons
New Life's Associate Pastor
My name is David Simmons. I am originally from Wisconsin, which is where most of my family still resides. I have been an Associate Pastor at New Life Open Bible since January 2005. I went to World Evangelism Bible College in Baton Rouge, LA. One summer while attending college, I was a youth pastor in Blufton, OH. I traveled with evangelist Tom Stammon of Impact Ministry to locations such as Kearney, NE; Monmouth, IL; and Kankakee, IL.
I want to do all i can to serve and honor my master, A.K.A. - my better half - Jesus.
My interests outside the church include weight lifting, individual sports of any kind and my two little girls,
Other things besides church, are my full time job with the U.S. Postal Service and a part time job at a local theater.
I have a tattoo on my left arm that says in Biblical Greek "aimati ayoeaoavta" which is pronounced "amata agrosonata" - translation -blood bought.
