The Children’s Pastor at New Life Open Bible Church is Linda Kosifas.
Linda’s husband (and best friend!) is Mark, the Lead Pastor. They have been married for 35 years. Their son Adam, daughter-in-law Roberta, and family live in Sedalia.
Linda loves Jesus, and loves to work with children. They have a refreshing honesty, lots of energy, and are always eager to learn more about God. Linda brings games, lessons and laughter into the classroom, so children find church a fun and safe place to learn.
In addition to being the Children’s Pastor, Linda is also the church secretary. She is one of those types of people who enjoy paperwork, so the job comes easily to her! She is also involved in the nursing home ministry, women’s fellowships, and special events held on holidays and other occasions at the church.
Linda really enjoys the Sedalia area. The people are friendly, and the climate is great. Linda’s hobbies outside of church include bird watching, reading, quilting, cross stitch, and crochet. Linda also enjoys shopping, especially for clothes and toys for grandchildren Christopher and Brianna.
