Linda Kosifas

New Life's Children's Pastor

 

The Children’s Pastor at New Life Open Bible Church is Linda Kosifas.

Linda is the wife of Mark, the Senior Pastor.  They have been married for 31 years, and have a son, Adam, and daughter-in-law, Roberta, who live in Sedalia with their family.

Linda loves Jesus, and loves to work with children.  They are energetic, honest, and eager to learn more about God.  Linda brings games, lessons and laughter into the classroom, so children find church a fun and safe place to learn. 

In addition to being the Children’s Pastor, Linda is also the church secretary.  She is one of those types of people who enjoy paperwork, so the job comes easily to her!  She is also involved in the nursing home ministry, women’s fellowships, and teaches the adult Sunday School class in addition to her work with the children.

Linda really enjoys the Sedalia area.  The people are friendly, and the climate is great.  One of her hobbies is bird watching, and she keeps a journal of all the different types of birds she has seen (119 varieties in the past year, thus far!).  Linda also enjoys shopping, especially for clothes and toys for her grandson Christopher and granddaughter Brianna.  Another newer hobby she has become involved with is quilting.  It has been a challenge to learn, but worth the effort.
