Mark is a guy who is radically and unshamedly in love with Jesus. He's also the lead pastor at New Life Open Bible Church in Sedalia, Missouri. New Life is a community of Christ followers committed to living and sharing new life in Jesus Christ.
Mark made his living as a truck driver and bus driver before going into full time ministry, and since then has served several churches as a teacher, associate pastor, and lead pastor. Currently, in addition to preaching the Word of God without compromise, Mark plays guitar in the church praise band, mows the grass and does whatever else is needed. He ministers to people in the nursing home, jail, and anywhere else that he can boast about Jesus. Mark has been married for over 35 years to his best friend Linda, whom he met in college. They have one son and two of the most beautiful grandchildren in the world.
Mark and Linda have a passion to break through religious mindsets and introduce people to a radical intimacy with a very real Savior, and a personal relationship with the family of God. They look forward to meeting you and helping you become a part of that family.

Mark Loves motorcycles. He's been riding since he was 14, and has been involved with some christian biker clubs.
Mark's favorite Scripture is Jeremiah 29:11-13, which reads "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord. "Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon Me and come pray to Me and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart."
Mark enjoys almost every style of music. He plays guitar, harmonica, and is learning to play bass.
Mark likes being outdoors, and likes to fish and camp.
